Copyright Policy

1. Ownership of rights

Authors retain copyright over their work without restrictions. The Revista de Análisis Económico – Economic Analysis Review (RAE-EAR) does not require the transfer of copyright, nor the assignment of exclusive publishing or commercial rights, as a condition for publication.

2. What is granted to the journal

On submitting an article, authors grant the journal only the right of first publication. The journal acquires no exclusive rights over the work and places no restriction on its subsequent reuse by the authors.

3. License applied to articles

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). The license applies to readers and third parties, not to the copyright holder: authors may use their own work without the conditions the license imposes on others. The full terms are set out in the Open Access Policy.

No content in the journal is published under an «all rights reserved» notice.

4. Author rights over published work

Authors may, without requesting permission and with no embargo period:

  • deposit the preprint, the accepted manuscript or the published version in institutional or subject repositories, on their personal websites or in academic networks, acknowledging that the work was originally published in this journal;
  • reuse their own text, tables and figures in later work, teaching and presentations;
  • distribute copies of the article for any lawful purpose.

5. Third-party material

Where an article includes third-party material —figures, tables, extensive text excerpts or data— it is the authors’ responsibility to obtain the necessary permissions and to identify its source and terms of use. The journal’s license does not extend to such material, whose rights remain with their holders.

6. Rights in the website

This policy concerns published articles. The design, structure and editorial texts of the website are the responsibility of the journal and are not governed by the license applied to the articles.

7. Enquiries

Enquiries about rights, permissions or reuse may be sent to [email protected].
